Longmans, Green and Co. Ltd., 1963. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1963. Second Impression. 459 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over red cloth with gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrated plates. List of signatures in ink to front endpapers. Pages are lightly tanned with a few small nicks along text block edge. Ex-libris present on front paste-down, with occasional underlining and marginalia present throughout. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning to edges. Boards have light shelf-wear with mild corner bumping and slight crushing to spine ends. Boards are subtly bowed. Unclipped jacket has light surface wear, with small tears, chips and creasing to spine ends, edges and corners. Water drops down spine.
