From the blurb, "Drawing together texts from many published sources, including The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, The Lord of the Rings and volumes of The History of Middle-earth, Brian Sibley has compiled a chronological narrative of the Second Age." Illustrated by Alan Lee, this book contains ten brand-new watercolor paintings and more than fifty pencil drawings, specially commissioned for this publication. Features a the front endpaper, the full version of Alan Lee's painting, "The Fall of Numenor" Also has an exclusive colored version of the Map of Numenor by Christopher Tolkien as well as the colored version of Christopher Tolkien's Map of The West of Middle-earth at the End of the Third Age, which appears as the rear endpaper. Quarter bound with grey boards, stamped in gold foil with a unique motif created by Alan Lee, and housed in a matching custom built slipcase. Digital photo's available, inquire if interested. Buyers specifying a Missouri shipping address will be charged a 5.95% sales tax, that will be added to their book purchase. Full refund will be furnished if listing is inaccurate or shipment is damaged. Refunds for full purchase price, less shipping and insurance, for any reason. Returns need to be authorized prior to their return shipment within 14 days of your receipt. Books must be returned in the same condition as received, return shipments must be fully insured.
