SIGNED the the author on a special preliminary page (limited edition: #856 of 900); also contains a Certificate of Authenticity from the Easton Press, a card titled "A Note About Fall and Rise," and a publisher's bookplate loosely laid in with the other two items that is not filled in. Contains appendicies, chapter notes and an index in the rear; 4 maps. Full gray leather binding with four raised spine bands and five compartments. The cover and spine decorations are in 22 kt gold, all edges are gilt; silk moire end papers with silk ribbon bookmark; printed on archival acid-free paper with smyth sewing. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no bookplates or ownership markings. This is very pretty book that will enhance any bookshelf or library.
