About This Item

London: Collins, 1955. Bound in the publishers hard boards with gilt title lettering to spine, this is the first impression of the first edition. A tidy copy with no inscriptions. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. Housed in the dark green dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Dustwrapper is very good. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. A presentable copy. Photographs of the book and the dustwrapper are available on request. Another excellent Nigel Balchin quality novel. This authors work it seems is enjoying something of a well deserved renaissance of late.. First Edition. Near Fine/Very Good. FIRST EDITION.
