Slim 4to (280 x 220 mm), 18ff. 24 sepia photogravures of working class people ( mostly tradesmen), all tipped onto rectos with letterpress beneath, images 150 x 100 mm and where two images to the page (110 x 80 mm), original decorative wrappers with spine tie. The trades people depicted include: Cottager weaving bamboo; Native sportsman; Woman shelling pea nuts; Harvesting rice; Blind fortune teller; Street Juggler; Open-air shave; Shoe mender; Taoist mendicant; Beggar; Wood engraver, etc. JISC locating a single copy at the SOAS Library.
