London: Cassell & Company Limited, 1901. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Seven volumes, Series 1 - 7. Identically bound in dark green leather with five raised bands along spines, gilt title and decorations in compartments. The boards have some scuff marks, the spines are sun-bleached. Some books have splits along the spine edges. The closed paged edges are marbled as are the end papers. Hinges and text blocks generally sound. No inscriptions. A few spots to end papers but internally pages generally clean and clear. Abundant plates with tissue-guards present. A very well preserved set appearing infrequently handled, especially internally. May incur additional postage charges overseas.
