Early Draft Spec script for the season 5, episode 12, "My Mother, My Friend," of the popular NBC television sitcom, which aired on December 18, 1986, here under the working title "Elyse's New Friend." Leading Artists agency wrappers, with cardstock note laid in, on Leading Artists letterhead, to "Webster" screenwriter Robbie Jayson, from the assistant of Leading Artists partner Robb Rothman, on behalf of screenwriter Kate Boutilier.
When Mallory brings her college friend Allison home to visit, and she immediately bonds with Elyse, Mallory grows jealous, questioning her relationship with her mom. The series was nominated for 19 Emmy Awards over its 7 season run, winning 5, including 3 Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy awards for Michael J. Fox, in a star-making role.
Untitled Leading Artists wrappers.. Title page present, with credits for screenwriter Kate Boutilier. 43 leaves, with last page of text numbered 42. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper with light rubbing, else Near fine, bound internally with three gold brads.
