Author recounts his service in World War II and his escape from Campo Concentramento 12, a prisoner of war camp. Stated First New Zealand edition. Tight binding. No chips, tears, creases or written inscriptions on pages. Frontis is a black and white photo of the author. Endpaper at front is a map. Dust jacket is not price-clipped. Some tears/chips around edges of jacket. Pages have yellowed around edges. Spine of jacket is sunned. Size: 8vo (8" to 9"). 207 pp
