Light wear and mild soiling to cloth covers, with light wear and soiling to edges of pages. Binding slightly shaken, though text block is square and binding generally firm. Mild tanning to paper, with minor dings and/or creases to extremities of some pages. Text clean. Binding sound. Volume is covered in a simple, custom fit protective cover that dates from the time the book was in a monastic library and is partially attached to volume with clear tape at endpapers. This cover could easily be removed, if desired
