Signed twice by the author: signed on the title page by Tilghman and additionally inscribed by Tilghman on half-title page in year of publication: "To Susan / many wishes / from / Chris Tilghman / June 11, 1990". Author's first book. Light shelf wear to bottom boards, a diagonal crease to upper corner of first two pages, else book in fine condition; dust jacket with shallow crimping to spine ends, light toning to flap margins, and light shelf wear, else fine.
