Tokyo: Asahi Optical Co Ltd.. Near Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1972. First Edition. Hardcover. 4 p.l., 347 & [1] pages; Publisher's white buckram, spine and front cover boldly lettered in gilt (Japanese and English letters). Fine, in a dust jacket which shows only minor short closed tears at the spine ends and corners. A brilliantly printed photo book, with fine plates in b/w and color. Text entirely in Japanese, except for the half title leaf, (recto and verso) just before the title page, and the dust jacket. There are bold red "chop" stamped signatures of a former owner on the front blank, otherwise unmarked, clean and tight. .

At The Antiquarian Book Shop, located in Georgetown - an historic neighborhood of Washington, D.C. we have been buying, selling & appraising rare, interesting and scholarly books in Georgetown for more than 30 years. Over those many years we have taken great pleasure from satisfying our customers' eclectic literary requirements in the shop and hope to continue in that tradition now that we have moved our operation on-line.Currently, our catalogued inventory includes about 4,000 books from the sixteenth century through the twentieth century in a variety of subject areas.
