About This Item
From the Preface: "This edition carries the core content of the preceding editions and records the changes in thinking and practice that have strengthened social work and increased its usefulness in the lives of the people it serves. New illustrative material has been drawn from the fields of practice and has been associated with the appropriate chapter. A new first chapter places social work in its contemporary setting, measures to some extent its size and cost, and assays some of the undone tasks."
Book - Good condition. Light soiling on covers except for a black grease pencil mark on back. Some edge wear, more corner wear. Front end paper has a top part torn out. Following page has the same tear, but the paper is still there. I noted some pencil marks and yellow highlighting in the text.
