The text is illustrated with black and white photography. Red coloured cloth covered boards with black coloured titles to the back strip. In this book the author contends that " ... Foxing is a sport – Fighting is an industry." -- from front fold over panel blurb, and in this searching enquiry the author looks at all aspects of both the sport and the industry. Softening and some fraying of the back strip corners; bumping and rubbing of the book corners with rubbing of the other book edges. Some fading of the back strip and rear panel along with some marks. Age toning and foxing of the text block edges and pages. Offset tanning and foxing to the end pages. The only part of the dustwrapper that is still present is the front fold over panel.
