About This Item
First hardcover edition, with dust jacket, published by Doubleday Doran, 1941. From the author of 'Alice Adams', the story of the everyday goings on of the Little family. 304 pages, 5-3/4" X 8". The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Jacket has edge wear at the head-heel of the spine and tips of the corners, a closed tear of about 1" at the bottom edge of the back panel, and a 1" closed tear at the top edge of the back flap. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Blue cloth covered boards with the title on the spine. Cover boards are flat, very minor spots of rubbing wear at the tips of the bottom corners. There is a large gift inscription in pencil on the first flyleaf page. No further writing besides that though. Mustard yellow top-stain, might be just a bit faded. Binding is tight and square. Not a remainder, not a library discard copy. Attache photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
