Spine neatly mended. - Demographic speculations on the growth of the world's population and the resulting end of humanity. The author (1818-1904) was Prefect of the department Basses-Payénés and developed later in life a serious interest in prehistory and anthropology. This scarce offprint of an interesting paper inscribed "affectueux souvenir, N."
