Boston, MA: Ticknor and Fields, 1864. Book. Very Good. Cloth. First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Boston, MA, Ticknor and Fields, 1864. First edition. 12mo. Brown(?) silk with beaded embellishment and lines blind-stamped into boards and spine, gilt lettering embossed on spine, dark brown coated endpapers, 324 pp text and 23 pp advertising. Bindings are faded, worn at top and bottom of spine, corners slightly rubbed, small discolorations on endpapers, minor foxing on a few pages by endpapers, a few pages in rear are starting to come loose at bottom. Text block is clean, bright and tight, except for the few loose pages mentioned. Appears gently read. Very good..
