About This Item
First edition hardcover with dust jacket, published by The New Press, 2002. A look at the little known incidents of dissent to English rule that happened before the more well known "Lexington and Concord". The focus here is on the towns of Worcester, Deerfield, and Greenfield in Massachusetts. This copy is not a remainder, not a library discard. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. The dust jacket shows very little wear. There are some light smudge marks to the edge of the text block from use, and a bump mark to the the fore edge which has left a light crease to the top corner of pages 9 and 10, just 1/8" or so at the top right corner of the pages. 236 pages with Index and Notes. Dark blue boards, maroon cloth covered spine with the author and title imprinted in gold on the spine. Boards are flat, and the corners are not bumped or creased, no edge wear to the boards. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
