Original green cloth stamped in gilt, toned around the edges and lightly rubbed at the corners. Binding sound, text unmarked, previous owner's name on front pastedown. 26 illustrations in the text, three b/w plates, and 10 colorlovely plates of birds, flowers, and insects. Written for the use of medical students, as an introduction to Development Theory and the "Doctrine of Evolution.
