In near fine condition with very good dustwrapper (dw; light scratches. Small mark to front. Not price clipped). A very clean and tight copy. 192pp. With b/w engravings. The English Olimpick Games began in 1612 on a small hill in the Cotswolds and ran for more than 200 years. Started as a protest against Puritanism, the games included shin kicking, greasy pole, sword fighting, hammer throwing.
