New York: Farmer, Brace & Co., 1857. Handsome spine with black and gold title. 1 inch piece of paper (almost same color as cover) stuck to leather front cover. 2 1/2 inch stain at bottom of front cover and on bottom of first few pages. Stain across bottom right corner of back cover 3 inches wide. Corners bumped and worn. Frayed fore edges. Overall a solid bound copy that is very readable.. Twenty Third Edition. Leather. Fair/No Dust Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
