San Francisco: H. S. Crocker & Company. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1874. 1st Edition. Full-leather. Original embossed leather boards show heavy rubbing, gilt lettering to spine dulled with chipping head of spine and missing bottom 3" of spine leather. Boards loose but still attached, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt with no markings or tearing. Tissue guard at title page, text pages outlined with red border. Just needs some tightening and repair to spine, additional photographs available on request. Biographical sketches compiled by the Society of First Steamship Pioneers. ; MCN27453; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 393 pp .
