The 1973 Balloon Championship was the second such event and was held at the New Mexico State Fairgrounds. The First Albuquerque hot-air balloon event was held in 1972 and from the beginning was called the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and it was held on the grounds of Coronado Shopping Center in Albuquerque with thirteen ballons participating. This 1973 Program Book is Illustrated with photographs, many in color of the 34 competing pilots and their balloons along with background information.
