About This Item
New York: William Morrow & Company, 1954. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Darling, Louis. 8.5"x5.5". The second in Haig-Brown's classic series. From the dust jacket: 'An acute observer of nature and of people, Haig-Brown provides another dimension to this splendid account of his fishing adventures with his descriptions of life in Chile and in the more remote parts of Argentina. He also provides abundant technical information about tackle and other practical details, and there is a valuable appendix on the birds, trees, and plants of the area.' Near fine in a very good dust jacket. Minor wear to the edges of the clipped dust jacket, particularly the upper edge of the spine. The blue cloth binding with images of fish and mountains has minor fading to the upper edge. Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper, small bookseller's sticker on back fixed endpaper. 288 clean and unmarked pages.
