Fishing with John, Iglauer, Edith. Published by Harbour Publishing, Madeira Park, BC, 1988. First Edition. 8vo up to 9½" tall. 305pp. Quarter navy cloth over grey boards, silver spine titles. Contents in fine condition with tiny owner's label on pastedown under jacket flap. Boards have very light fading and soiling; Unclipped jacket is in fine condition.
Edith Iglauer was born in Cleveland and lived an urban, sophisticated life in New York until she met and married John Daly, a commercial fisherman in British Columbia. She spent more than four years on his forty-one-foot troller, the Morekelp until his sudden death.
