London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1885. First, limited edition, no. 249 of a total 250 copies of the Large Paper edition. Part of the Badminton Library of Sports and Pastimes. Externally fair, internally good. Includes the bookplate of noted book collector and Grolier Club member Frederic Robert Halsey, as well as that of Newton C. Brainard. Three quarter dark blue leather over mustard colored cloth, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Worn with spine covering absent, heavy rubbing to the extremities, hinges good (front hinge just starting from the top edge), text block sound but not tight, very small clipped mounted on the bottom of page 217 (figures of the eye lenses of salmon and trout), pages clean with no other names or markings. Well illustrated throughout.. First, Limited Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
