New York: Harper & Brothers, 1873. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good. Octavo; pp; 239; frontispiece; terra-cotta cloth lettered in gilt, brown coated endpapers; Light wear;. Bruns H-35: "One of the definitive books, a standard. Very scarce." This copy belonged to a "Sport" from Cazenovia, L. W. Ledyard. He has made very interesting notes in pencil and ink regarding transportation to places pursuing field sports. Fishing Eastern Canada and the United States, with the first account of the Michigan grayling.
