About This Item
Dallas Inst Humanities & Culture, 1988-01-01. First THUS. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. 6x0x9. Very good+ hardcover with DJ. NOT ex-library. New translation published in 1988. Originally published in 1961 as "La flamme d'une chandelle", the translation is based on the 7th printing, 1984. The Bachelard Translations series was founded to publish English-language editions of Bachelard's works that had not been published before. Binding is tight, sturdy, and square; boards and text also very good+. Unclipped dust jacket has a quarter-inch closed tear at head, tiny bit of wear to corners. A very nice copy. Ships same or next business day from Dinkytown in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
