Hardcover. 83p., bookplate on front free endpaper and small shop label on rear pastedown, untrimmed fore-edge, very good first US edition in marbled boards with black cloth spine, gilt spine titles and red topstain as issued. Mylar protective jacket. South African poet's first book. He moved to England where and his wife Mary settled in with Harold Nicolson and Vita Sackville-West, becoming members of the Bloomsbury Group. However Mary became involved with Vita in a lesbian romance. He became a translator of Garcia Lorca.
