The artist uses an interesting combination of cutouts on each page exposing different combinations of color paper. The text is all about color. The University of Delaware holds correspondence between Clifford Harvey, proprietor of the Pemutation Press and Ben Lieberman. Harvey (1997-2013) was Professor Emeritus of Art at West Virginia University and set up their Graphic Design program.

A few spots of foxing to the fore edge otherwise a very good clean copy throughout, finely bound in recent half dark green morocco, raised bands, the compartments ruled, lettered and decorated in gilt. Marbled paper on boards. An attractively leather bound copy of this classic of American literature.
