Cassel & Co., Ltd, 1909. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1909. No Edition Stated. 40 pages. No dust jacket. Pictorial paper covered boards with green cloth to spine. Colour illustrations throughout by Walter Crane. Ex-libris plate to front pastedown, belonging to Kenn Back. Green patterned endpapers and pastedowns. Pages are clean overall, with mild tanning throughout and occasional speckles of foxing. Uncut pages. Noticeable tears to pages 3-4. Dust marks with faint brown stains to some pages. Illustrations remain bright and clear. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Large splits to spine ends causing spine strip to be loose to bottom edge. Minor loss to ends with fraying to cloth. Scuffing to edges and corners with loss to paper, exposing card underneath. Faint black marks with scuffing overall. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
