Reynal & Hitchcock, 1936. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1936. First Edition. 324 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Decorated green cloth. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Some pages are loose from binding, including title page. Creasing to edges of pages. Scuffed paper remnants to front pastedown and rear endpaper. Binding is very shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Book is notably bowed and forward leaning. Mild tanning to spine and edges. Brown marking overall.
