Also good information on elementary navigation, fundamentals of radio, types of aircraft, and flight rules. Includes a bibliography of books to read on the subject along with a listing of famous flights from 1783 in a balloon to 1954 (when the author made HIS first flight!). Illus. by Fluchere, Henri and Photos. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Hardcover. Good+/No Jacket.
