About This Item
New York: Victory Music, 1991. 4 7/8 x 14" sheet, letterpress printed on card stock and folded once. Designed by Bruce Licher and Brother Awest, and printed by Licher.
The striking and beautiful invitation to the release party for the second album from David Bowie's Tin Machine, and the first release from the fledgling label which would go bankrupt about three years afterwards. The invitation is notable for featuring one of the unaltered Kouroi statues similar to the cover of the album, which had been censored in the US for featuring male genitalia.
Fine.
