The corners have some wear and are bumped. Text block edges have a couple of light soil spots. Inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dustjacket is rubbed, with wear to the spine ends and corners. Top of spine end has a cello tape repair. An extensive examination of folk art in Canada, with page after page of colour or black and white photographs of paintings and carvings. Includes chapters on primitive, naive, provincial, folk-culture, and themes and directions. Includes a checklist of Canadian folk artists. Indexed. .
