The Hague, 1697. Copper engraving, 48.5 x 61 cm, black and white, trimmed to printed area at the top of the image, blank verso. Blaeus townbook of Savoy and Piedmont was first published by the Blaeu heirs in 1682, but the plates were purchased and reissued (with Blaeus imprint erased) by Adriaan Moetjens in 1697. The Fountain of Hercules was part of the elaborate late seventeenth century garden design at the Palace of Venaria near Turin. Koeman Bl 80 Map
