Public Media, 1952. VHS Movie. Starring Brigitte Fossey, Georges Poujouly, Lucien Hubert, Susanne Courtal. 1952. 102 minutes. Black & white. In French with English subtitles. Fine copy in original slip-case lacking top flap. A young girl and her family fleeing the German advance on Paris are attacked from the air. She alone survives and is cared for by a peasant family. She forms a special relationship with the son. A very noteworthy film which won one of the main prizes at Cannes and the Oscar for that years best foreign film.
