[5], vi-vii, [4], 4-658, [4] pp. Red cloth with gold lettering on the front board and spine; red topstain. Price of $10.00 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Translated from the French by Richard Howard. de Beauvoir's third installation in her autobiography, exploring her experience as a middle-class woman in early twentieth century France as well as her relationship with Jean-Paul Sartre. A very near Fine book with minor residue from a bookplate on the free front endpaper in a Very Good dust jacket with a dampstain on the reverse of the spine panel (barely noticeable on the front of the spine panel), and a few hints of edge wear.
