London: Bradbury & Evans, 1854. Hardcover. Very Good. Consiste entirely of 80 pages of captioned black and white illustrations. Leaves printed on one side. Old but probably later 1/2 leather (with good-sized corners). 29cm. Modest cover scuffing and wear. Bookplate. All edges gilt. Doyle is mostly remembered as a British illustrator of books although he did produce some works of his own such as this title.
