London, Messrs. Fores, Piccadilly, 1891 - 1901. Eleven Volumes. Hardbacks, approx 9 x 6 inches. Bound with original pictorial black and gilt decorative red cloth boards, blind embossed on rears, and later leather fine binding to spines, with raised banding, gilt lettering and sporting vignettes. Dark grey endpapers, full gilt page edging. In very good conditions. Stunning later leather spines, Some minor rubbing to designs on front boards, with some minor fading and rubbing to cloth on corners and edges. Else covers are still very clean and bright. Endpapers clean, but have darkened the front halftitle pages and last final pages. Some foxing to main title pages, contents etc, with some foxing to inside pages at outer edges. Else pages and plates overall all clean and bright. Else a very good clean and tight set. 11 volumes. Complete years 1891 to 1901. (Volume numbers VII to XVIII) Illustrated with many full page B&W plates (mid-tan plates with black print and white highlight.)
