Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. This is Vol. VIII of the Autograph Edition of The Writings of Rafael Sabatini, published by Houghton Mifflin in 1924, one of 750 numbered copies; this is the Publisher's Copy and came from the Houghton estate. NOTE: THIS VOLUME IS NOT SIGNED; only Volume I in this edition is signed. Quarter red cloth with paper spine label, brown paper over boards, vii +348 pp., most uncut/unopened, frontis and three illustrations with captioned tissues by Aiden L. Ripley.
