New York and Toronto: Rinehart & Company, Inc., 1948. First edition. Ex-library copy but without external markings. Dark navy boards with blindstamp on red orange spine lettering, 244 pages, color illustrated dustjacket. Some expected internal ex-library markings, including inkstamp at front pastedown and evidence of rear pocket removal on rear pastedown. The book is in good condition with gently rubbed extreme spine ends and corners, sound text block, good hinges, name written in tiny letters on front free endpaper, otherwise clean pages with no markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and is also in good condition, clean and pleasantly age-toned with gently rubbed periphery, mildly chipped spine ends (not obstructing design). . First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
