About This Item
Victor Gollancz, 1939. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. The boards are extremely marked, shelf rubbed, edge worn and torn. The book is a touch cocked. The top and bottom edges of the cloth on the spine are torn and beginning to fray - this does not affect the legibility of the text on the spine. The front pastedown contains a previous retailer's sticker, and the front end page has a previous owner's signature on it in blue ink. There is some sporadic dog-earing throughout the pages, which remain clean and complete. The binding has been carefully repaired.. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
