Hard-to-find hardcover version with its original DJ of this very first book in the series of Foxfire books from the original wave of the environmental movement in the 1970s, aimed at fostering sustainable living in harmony with nature. Lavishly illustrated with diagrams & black-and-white photos. A FIRST EDITION, 8th printing from 1972 in 384 pages, including Index, this hardcover small 4to has beige cloth-covered boards, lettered in light brown to spine. Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally clean & bright, binding tight & square, hinges secure, pages creamy white with very mild tanning to edges, else unmarked. The unclipped DJ is VG-, marred by chipping to both ends of spine, with paper loss, lesser chipping & rubbing to extremities, including corners. Nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free! Synopsis
