Halifax, NS: Press of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, 1975. Oversize Paperback. VERY GOOD. Tight, bright, clean and square. Unmarked except for faint edge stain (confined to the margin) on about half the pages. Dust jacket has rubbed edges, light soil and a few 1/4" tears along top edge. 153 pages, including references. 8x10x1/2" (20.5x 25.5x1cm). Reproduces 7 of Hans Haacke's works that deal with the interaction of art, the producers of works of art, their public and their economic and ideological support structure. Works included are MOMA-Poll, John Weber Gallery Visitor's Profile 1 and 2, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Board of trustees, Manet-PROJEKT '74, Seurat's "Los Poseuses" (small version), 1888-1975, & On Social Grease. Includes a bibliography of related works. Also two essays analyzing the work. "Steps in the Formulation of Real-TIme Political Art" by Jack Burnham and "Social Science the work of Hans Haacke" by Howard S. Becker & John Walton
