The image depicts Marianne, a symbol of France, wearing a French combat helmet known as the 'Adrian helmet'. In the background are men carrying various flags, many of them red. The French, American, and Canadian flags are also shown. Good condition, with original folds as issued. Mounted on linen, folded. La France libre was a French socialist daily newspaper published from 1918 to 1925 . It was the creation of opponents of the participation of the SFIO in the international conference in Stockholm of 1917 , at which the German social democracy (independent social democratic party of Germany ) was present, considering ways to end the war.<br/> <br/>
