Frank Fairleigh, or Scenes From the Life of a Private Pupil, London: Blackfriars Publishing, undated (late 19th or early 20th century). Octavo, pp. xii, 400, red cloth boards with gilt lettering and floral decoration to spine, top edge gilt, some leaves unopened, illustrations by George Cruickshank, former owner's ID on front pastedown. Hand-colored frontispiece and title page, plus 28 monochrome plates. Condition of this book: Backstrip darkened with chip at lower spine, minor losses at upper spine, rubbed fore corners. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact.
