Modest rubbing to corners and spine ends. Light scattered foxing. Neat inscription to previous owner on front blank endpaper. DJ has few short tears to edges. Approx. 3 1/2" chip to top of spine w/ a 2" closed tear to front panel near spine. DJ rear flap advertises "Winston Series of Alger Books" w/ 36 titles listed. DJ rear panel advertises "Every Boy's Library" w/ 49 titles listed. Illust. w/ color plates. Contents nice.. Hard Cover. Very Good-/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Very Scarce in DJ.
