New York: Harcourt Brace, 1976. First Edition - American. Near fine copy with ahint of foxing to the top edge in a fine bright dust jacket. Two versions of Virginia Woolf’s only play, the texts of which were discovered shortly after the death of her husband, Leonard. The play is set on the Isle of Wight, and is based on Woolf’s great aunt Julia Margaret Cameron, the great Victorian photographer, with the additional characters (which varied from version to version) including, Tennyson, the painter George Frederick Watts and his child-bride, Ellen Terry, Leonard Woolf, Vanessa Bell, and others.
