Longmans Green and Co, London; New York; Bombay, 1896. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Clean dark blue covers with illustration and title in silver on the front cover and silver lettering and design of stars on the spine. Wear in cloth over both ends of the rear joint, small worn areas over front joint and cloth has lifted for a small area on the front. Paper over front hinge is split in places but covers are securely attached. Uncut (untrimmed) pages at upper and vertical block and block edges are a little darkened. Text block binding is sound. Significant foxing to prelims and lightly and occasionally elsewhere, pages are otherwise clean. Includes, as required, three colour fold-out maps and eight black and white plates and also vignette illustrations. No dust-jacket. Prize plate at front. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 1-2kg.
