SIGNED typed letter by the author to Sir Edmund Walker (Canadian Bank of Commerce) is taped onto the front free endpaper. 784 pages in very good, clean condition; edges and endpapers a little yellowed. Many photographs and maps, including 2 folding maps in a back pouch. Blue cloth with gilt titles. Spine faded, small tears at head/tail. Edges and corners rubbed. Corners a little bumped. Few stains and scratches on the covers. Binding good and tight. VG-. Signed by Author. First U.S.. Hard Cover. VG-.
